Sonic has added the new Chophouse Cheeseburger to their menu for a limited time. If you’re a steak-lover, this burger promises to combine all your favorite flavors.

The new burger features a 100% beef patty with a bold Chophouse aioli sauce, crispy onion strings, and two slices of American cheese on a toasted brioche bun. It will priced at $4.99, but this may vary by location.

The Chophouse Cheeseburger will be available at participating locations starting on August 29, but users of the SONIC App have early access to the new burger starting today, August 22. The new burger will be available until October 30, while supplies last.

BurgerFi has added the Juicy Lucy to their menu for a limited time.

While a traditional Juicy Lucy has cheese stuffed inside the meat, BurgerFi’s interpretation features two Angus beef patties with white cheddar, American and pepper jack cheeses sandwiched between them. It’s then topped off with sweet tomato relish and the chain’s signature Fi sauce.

If you’re craving this burger, don’t wait too long to try it. The Juicy Lucy will leave BurgerFi’s menu on September 19. Locally it retails for $9.99.

Krystal is celebrating their return to late night dining with the launch of the new $1.99 Krystal Snack. The meal consists of one of Krystal’s signature sliders, and a small order of fries or tots.

The classic Krystal slider is grilled on diced onions and topped with mustard and dill pickle.

While meant to celebrate the chain’s additional later hours of operation, this deal will be available all day at participating restaurants. Krystal will also be launching a series of late night commercials featuring actor, singer and TV personality Ray J to promote the changes.

Wendy’s continues building out their breakfast menu with the addition of the new Homestyle French Toast Sticks. Launching on August 15 nationwide, the Homestyle French Toast Sticks also come with a new syrup dip meant to complement their flavor profile.

With a soft, custardy interior and a crisp, golden-brown crust with hints of vanilla, the Homestyle French Toast Sticks will add a sweetness to Wendy’s breakfast offerings to balance out all the savory flavors already on the menu.

The sticks will come in both 4-piece and 6-piece sizes. The 6-piece size will also be featured in a combo with Seasoned Potatoes and a beverage.

Papa Johns has revealed Papa Bowls as the newest addition to their permanent menu. The bowls feature Papa Johns’ toppings, cheeses, and sauces but in a crustless form factor.

Starting on August 15, Papa Rewards members can order the new bowls before they come available nationally on August 22. Papa Bowls will come in three varieties:

• Italian Meats Trio: features pizza and alfredo sauces, layered with pepperoni, sausage, meatballs, green peppers, onions and tomatoes. Topped with a three cheese blend and Italian seasoning.
• Chicken Alfredo: features alfredo and garlic parmesan sauces with grilled chicken, spinach, mushrooms, onions and tomatoes. Topped with a three cheese blend and Italian seasoning.
• Garden Veggie: features pizza and garlic parmesan sauces with spinach, mushrooms, onions, green peppers, tomatoes and banana peppers. Topped with a three cheese blend and Italian seasoning.

The new bowls will retail for $7.99. You’ll also have the option to create-your-own bowl with custom ingredients for the same price.

Sonic has added the Big Dill Cheeseburger and Pickle Juice Slush back to their menu. Pickle fans can now order these items for a limited time.

The Big Dill Cheeseburger debuted back in April when it quickly sold out. The burger features pickle fries, crinkle cut pickle slices and ranch sauce, a 100% beef patty, chopped lettuce, and American cheese on a toasted brioche bun. The Big Dill Cheeseburger retails for $4.49.

The Pickle Juice Slush was first introduced back in 2018 and has remained one of Sonic’s most frequently requested menu items on social media. The slush combines the flavor a salty dill pickle with a sweet slush for a taste described as “refreshingly tart” and like “sipping out of the pickle jar.” The pickle juice flavoring will also be available to add to other Sonic beverage for an additional charge. Locally a medium Pickle Juice Slush retails for $2.39.

Sonic’s Pickle Fries are also returning as a separate menu item. This snack features dill pickle spears cut into a fry shape, battered and fried and served with a side of ranch sauce. The pickles fries retail for $1.89

You can order these items at participating Sonic locations starting today August 8 through August 28, while supplies last.

Dairy Queen has revealed the new Reese’s Take 5 Blizzard Treat as August’s Blizzard of the Month.

This new Blizzard features Reese’s Take 5 candy (which consists of Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, peanuts, caramel topping, and pretzel pieces) mixed with Dairy Queen’s classic vanilla soft serve.

Prices locally range from $3.59 for a mini-size to $6.29 for a large, though this may vary based on store and market.

The Reese’s Take 5 Blizzard Treat is available nationwide at participating Dairy Queen locations for a limited time only.

Jack in the Box has added the new Oreo Cookie Ultimate Chocolate Shake to their line-up of sweet treats.

Already offering an Oreo Shake with a vanilla-base, this new item combines their old-fashioned, thick chocolate shake with Oreo cookie crumbles. It’s then finished off with whipped cream and a maraschino cherry.

Locally, a regular-sized Oreo Cookie Ultimate Chocolate shake retails for $3.99 and a large for $4.49. There’s no word yet whether this is a limited time offering (like the recent Girl Scout Adventurefuls Caramel Brownie Shake) or a permanent addition to the menu.

Taco Bell will bring the Mexican Pizza back as a permanent addition to their menu on September 15. The chain confirmed the return via social media post.

The Mexican Pizza’s return has long been anticipated by fans since it was discontinued in 2020. After some false starts, including a limited-time return in May 2022, Taco Bell is confident that they have resolved the supply chain challenges necessary to keep the item on the menu permanently.

The Mexican Pizza will be identical in its return, featuring seasoned beef and refried beans between two fried flour tortillas, topped with pizza sauce, a three cheese blend and fresh diced tomatoes. There’s also a Veggie Mexican Pizza that removes the beef. Both carry a suggested retail price of $4.49 when ordered as a single item.

Little Caesars has unveiled their newest menu item: the Old World Fanceroni Pepperoni Pizza. Featuring over 100 slices of old world-style pepperoni that crisp up when cooked, the pizza is available for online ordering starting August 1.

The new pepperonis are described as having a rich, smoky flavor and are the “cupping” variety that have become popular in recent years. The pizza should be extra crunchy as a result.

The pizza is available for $9.99 starting today for online orders and will be available HOT-N-READY without preordering in Little Caesars locations starting August 8. But act fast, because the Old World Fanceroni Pepperoni is only available for a limited time.
