With swelter temperatures gripping the nation, it’s time to celebrate the quintessential summertime snack: the hot dog. July 20 is National Hot Dog Day and many restaurants are serving up amazing deals to honor the food.

Nathan’s Famous: You can get one of their hot dog for the original 1916 price of 5 cents with the purchase of a full-priced hot dog. Check your local Nathan’s for participation details.
The Original Hot Dog Factory: If you can handle waiting a few days to celebrate, you can get a completely free hot dog from this chain on July 22. You don’t have to sign up for any rewards programor bring a coupon. Just show up at a location between noon and 4pm and walk away with a free dog.
Philly Pretzel Factory: You can try one of their famous pretzel dogs for only $1 on July 20. No coupon or app is necessary for this deal.
Portillo’s: Why limit hot dogs to just one day? Portillo’s is celebrating National Hot Dog Week with free delivery from July 18-24 with a minimum order of $10.
Sonic: Better late than never with this deal. From July 23-27, you can get a free corndog with an order of a Shark Week Slush through their app or website.
Sheetz: The convenience store is offering two free hot dogs with any purchase via their app from July 20-22.
Pilot Flying J: The travel center has a buy-one-get-one-free hot dog deal on July 20.
