Taco Bell will bring the Mexican Pizza back as a permanent addition to their menu on September 15. The chain confirmed the return via social media post.
The Mexican Pizza’s return has long been anticipated by fans since it was discontinued in 2020. After some false starts, including a limited-time return in May 2022, Taco Bell is confident that they have resolved the supply chain challenges necessary to keep the item on the menu permanently.
The Mexican Pizza will be identical in its return, featuring seasoned beef and refried beans between two fried flour tortillas, topped with pizza sauce, a three cheese blend and fresh diced tomatoes. There’s also a Veggie Mexican Pizza that removes the beef. Both carry a suggested retail price of $4.49 when ordered as a single item.
